Calming Consumers over ATM Scam Fears

GBA was called on as a resource to speak for the industry this week by a TV station in Atlanta reporting on an FBI warning to banks nationwide about a possible cyberattack on ATMs. The news story reported on the warning the FBI issued Aug. 9 to banks and law enforcement so they could thwart what it considered an "imminent" threat at the time. New Affirmative Action Audit Approach
Bank HR teams should be aware of a new approach to affirmative action audits signaled by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Fun Video Contest a Great Way to Promote Savings
Here’s a great way to get young customers interested in saving money, engage with students and to get some recognition for your bank. Registration is open for the ABA Foundation’s Lights, Camera, Save! contest. It’s a national contest that encourages teens to use video to communicate the value of sound money management. Teen participants create up to a 90-second video that demonstrates the importance of using money wisely and submit the video to their local participating bank. Grand prize is $5,000 for the winning video submission and a scholarship for a teacher at his or her school to attend the 2018 Jump$tart National Educator Conference.
