Tri-Conferences Start Sunday
GBA member bank presidents, CEOs, attorneys and accountants will convene
Sunday evening for their annual conferences. The concurrent conferences will
provide the latest updates about the economy, the real estate market, bank
strategy ideas, fraud detection and prevention, legal issues, bank
accounting and more. "There's so much value for these groups to come
together each year for these conferences. We're all looking forward to the
great ideas we'll share and the networking with our peers," said Philip

Regulators Signal Focus on Fair Lending, Mortgage Servicing
"Unintentional" discrimination, redlining, mortgage modifications and other
servicing issues are areas of regulatory focus for the Department of
Justice, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency, said regulators at a panel discussion last

Economist Chris Low to Update Attendees at November Conference
Chris Low, Chief Economist for FTN Financial in New York, will be on hand at
GBA's 2014 Financial Risk Management Conference, Nov. 4-5, to give attendees
an update on the first half of 2014. Low will explain where the economy is
going and what it means to markets and the Fed. Low is chairman of the
American Bankers Association's Economic Advisory Committee and a member of

Breakout Sessions on Managing NIM and Making Mortgages in This Tough
GBA's 2014 Credit Conference will offer concurrent breakout sessions in an
effort to touch on timely and substantive issues affecting bankers who
manage daily credit challenges in their institutions. On Wednesday, Dec. 3,
