Fed Encouraging Diversity Self Assessments

Our Strategic Partner, Steve Greene with Employment Law Compliance (ELC), has shared with us that the Federal Reserve has sent letters this month to community banks encouraging them to complete and submit self-assessments of their diversity policies and practices as of year-end 2015. The self-assessment is based on diversity and inclusion assessment standards issued by the agencies last summer. The self-assessments are voluntary, but regulators are obviously aggressively encouraging banks to do the work. More about the diversity self-assessments here...

Analysis of High-Performing Banks Available

A resource from GBA Associate Member Resurgent Performance outlines characteristics of banks nationally that are putting up medal-worthy performance metrics. “The 2016 Olympic Games recently concluded with Team USA pulling in yet another win. A whopping 121 medals boosted the United States up even higher above the competition in our country’s reigning top spot on the all-time medal chart. To put it simply, the best keep getting better.
